About the role
Reporting to the Director of Education, this post will be responsible for coordinating the consistent delivery of the student experience through all aspects of student services within ACM (at all campuses). This includes management of Education Guidance, Student Support and Student Wellbeing, the Student Union Café and the Creativity Centre. Additionally, the role will take the lead on student accommodation and be the Designated Safeguarding Lead for ACM.
Working closely with the Education Management Team and wider Senior Management Team, one of the main focuses of this role is to ensure that the range of services are delivered consistently across campuses and that all staff and all students are fully aware of the student support services available and how these are accessed, managed, recorded and evaluated.
About the person
ACM is looking for an experienced Student Services Manager who is educated to at least degree level and able to demonstrate creative and innovative approaches to enhancing service delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment. Experienced in dealing with complex issues and formulating solutions with the ability to coordinate the response to critical incidents, safeguarding issues and other student situations, the post holder will need exceptional customer service and project management skills as well as well as high-level communication, ICT and administration skills.
Experience of fulfilling the role of designated safeguarding lead would be advantageous.
