The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,056 - £42,304 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The McKendry group at UCL London Centre for Nanotechnology The aim of the project is to identify serious diseases (such as major flu epidemics, MRSA and HIV) much earlier than ever before using mobile phone connected diagnostic tests. This position is funded for 1 year in the first instance.
The successful applicant will have a degree in physical science, engineering or life sciences and experience in bionano research. Candidates should also have excellent written and verbal communication. Knowledge of surface plasmon resonance, paper microfluidics, paper microfluidics. PhD is desirable.
