Science Gallery London (SGL) is a flagship project for King’s College London opening in 2018 in a prime location opposite The Shard. It will engage over 300,000 visitors per year where art and science collides, bringing together artists, researchers, students and local communities in new and innovative ways.
Programming is focused around 3 themed seasons each year with an emotive spin and broad-based appeal and including an exhibition, live experiments, performances, debates and happenings. Social, conversational, welcoming and lively, with a focus on 15-25 year olds, SGL will inspire dialogue, interaction and experimentation. See more at http://london.sciencegallery.com/
A fantastic opportunity to be involved at the start of an amazing project, the Production Assistant plays a key role in the delivery of our season exhibitions and events. Reporting to the Head of Programming, the role supports the production of exhibitions and events from early conception to completion, alongside collaborating artists, scientists and audiences. The role requires a strong mix of creative resourcefulness, attention to detail, administrative rigour, a willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
Interview dates are TBC but likely to be held early November.
