The Role: This is your chance to build on our reputation, providing academic, strategic and operational leadership in learning and teaching to enhance the quality of the student experience. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the strategic direction of our Learning, Teaching and Enhancement provision and work as part of the senior management team in developing the College’s pedagogic approach ahead of our move to a purpose built site in Stratford in four years’ time.

Your Profile: 

Together with a relevant postgraduate qualification and acknowledged recognition in your field, you will have a significant record of teaching in Higher Education and pedagogic research. You will be high performing and highly motivated with significance experience of shaping and influencing development through your own contribution. A naturally talented team leader, you will be informed about key national and international developments in your field and you will be an impressive influencer and networker, who can support others to excel and build essential connections that will help us build on our global reputation.

You will work in collaboration with Senior Staff from Academic Development and Quality Assurance, the UAL Dean of Learning, Teaching and Enhancement and the Associate Deans and academic staff across the College to enhance our learning and teaching provision.

You will play a key role in the development and operation of staff development across the College and will undertake an agreed teaching responsibility.
