An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences to provide professional advice and guidance and promote compliance.

As the successful candidate you will support your manager in the management of health and safety across the faculty. Providing general induction and risk assessment training, undertaking safety inspections, investigating incidents and providing general day to day health and safety advice within the faculty.

You will have a degree in a scientific subject as well as experience of managing safety within the laboratory environment. It is essential that you have a NEBOSH general certificate as a minimum, strong communication and organisational skills, experience and sound working knowledge of COSHH (both chemical and biological) and a proven track record in applying health and safety legislation in the workplace.
