Exciting and unique development opportunity
The Institute of Health Visiting (iHV), a very vibrant, successful, young charity supporting health visitors, is seeking to appoint a part time (0.6 FTE, 3-days a week) Research Lead.
The Research Lead will take responsibility for the development of a new research department within the iHV and the delivery of the Institute’s research strategy. The post holder will have a doctorate and be an experienced researcher in the fields of child and public health.
As a confident and experienced researcher, with a good understanding of the work of the health visitor, you will also be able to demonstrate a strategic vision for developing research to improve child and family lives and strengthen communities. You will have highly developed interpersonal skills for networking and developing helpful relationships with the range of research-focused organisations across the UK as well as with the research-active members of the Institute.
The post holder will be highly respected by colleagues for their capacity to drive and deliver research developments.
Initially a one-year post. Secondment welcome.
