The post holder will be joining Kent Union at a very exciting time and a transformational phase for the department as it continues to develop and grow its catering provision across the Canterbury and Medway Campuses. We are currently finalising plans for a £3m new Students’ Union building at Parkwood, Canterbury that will see the closure of our current Woody’s Sports Bar and Essentials Shop and following a review of their offers, concepts and design will see them relocate to this new building alongside additional social study and flexible activities space. The Food and Beverage Manager will firstly be responsible for operating Woodys Bar throughout the next academic year, developing its food offer and achieving and maintaining excellent levels of customer service. They will have budget holder responsibilities and will manage all aspects of Woody’s operations, until its closure in spring 2017.
