The School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering is home to around 2600 students and 200 staff. Owing to the continued growth and success of our undergraduate and postgraduate engineering teaching, we are seeking to appoint candidates with a passion for teaching.
We require a new member of staff with expertise in Project Management, We would be interested in receiving applications from specialists in this area who also have experience of the transport sector and a demonstrable passion for innovation in the Project Management arena as well as expertise with digital technologies.
Applicants should have, as a minimum, a higher degree in engineering or equivalent industrial experience. Experience of teaching, module management and supervising student project work would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter and able to communicate with students, engineers and academia at all levels. You will provide support to senior academics for module delivery and assessment as well as STEM/Outreach activities and Open Days. The ambition to succeed in a competitive arena is essential with a focus on creating an outstanding academic student experience.
