Based in either our York or London office a new and exciting opportunity has become available to grow STEM Learning’s online CPD (continuing professional development) portfolio of activities. This role will be instrumental in taking 30% of our CPD activities online by 2018. We have made a start but there is a lot to do.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive professional with proven experience of learning technologies and platforms including mobile, tablets, social networks and live events. You will have experience of MOOCs/Virtual Learning Environments with a clear understanding and awareness of accessibility, privacy, IP and copyright issues. Knowledge of the FutureLearn platform will be an advantage.
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate specialist technological information to a non-technical audience will ensure we are able to target and utilise the most appropriate platforms for our CPD activities.
This role requires an unusual blend of technological, pedagogical, planning and influencing skills. STEM Learning will support the successful role holder in their own professional development to ensure we can maximise your potential to fulfil the role successfully.
The successful candidate will join a highly professional, progressive organisation whose mission is to achieve a world-leading STEM education for all young people across the UK.
The National STEM Learning Centre and Network is a key UK resource for supporting STEM teaching and learning through provision of CPD, resources, online communities in partnership with a wide range of organisations and individuals.
