Clinical Research Fellow

Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Fellow (honorary SpR) in Cardiovascular Medicine to be held at the University of Cambridge and Addenbrooke's and/or Papworth Hospitals. The post offers an opportunity for a Cardiology trainee to pursue a period of full time research in intracoronary imaging, with a particular focus on VH-IVUS, OCT and detection of vulnerable atherosclerotic plaques (see Circ Cardiovasc Imaging. 2014;7:461-70, 2015;8. doi:10.1161/CIRCIMAGING.115.003487, and 2016;9.doi:10.1161/CIRCIMAGING.115.004172 and Nat Rev Cardiol. 2016;13:210-20).

Funding is available for 15 months in the first instance to allow Fellowship applications to be prepared. Candidates would be expected to register for a research-based PhD.
