The School of Law at Birmingham City University has been at the forefront of innovative law teaching for more than 40 years. Renowned for our emphasis on programmes which prepare students for professional practice within and outside of the legal profession and we have close links with law firms and businesses throughout the region. The School has gained an international reputation as a major centre for academically rigorous legal education and training. In 2015 we moved to a new building in the heart of the City of Birmingham providing a dynamic environment for our students and staff.
The School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and talented L/SL to support our LLB with American Legal studies pathway. The successful applicant will contribute towards our American Criminal Procedure, US Constitutional Law, and U.S. Dissertation modules as well as support our well established American Legal Placement initiative. Having a US law qualification is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will also be required to contribute to at least one of the foundation subjects on the LLB.
