The School of Engineering and Technology is seeking to make a permanent appointment in aerospace engineering, with specific knowledge and experience in Aerospace Systems and Design.
We seek to appoint a high-achieving individual with a PhD in a relevant discipline and/or a relevant aerospace industrial background. Teaching experience will be an advantage.
The successful applicant will focus on teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, but will also be able to contribute to the School’s other activities, such as research and commercial work. The School of Engineering and Technology offers degrees in Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Systems Engineering, Aerospace Systems Engineering with Pilot Studies, Aerospace Engineering with Space Technology, Aerospace Technology with Management, Aerospace Technology with Pilot Studies, as well as degrees in Automotive Engineering, Motorsport Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Digital Technology.
The successful applicant will be expected to have the potential to undertake the full range of duties commensurate with a research-informed, teaching School.
