Leeds College of Art has played a central role in providing specialist education 170 years and has developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students.
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and creative Curatorial and Exhibitions Assistant to provide technical and administrative support to the Curatorial and Exhibitions Manager in the running of the College’s Gallery, Exhibitions Space and Events.
The College has a large and diverse programme of exhibitions ranging from major international artists to alumni and is a leading venue for exhibiting exciting contemporary art and design, with several spaces in Blenheim Walk, including the main Gallery, and the public areas of our city centre Vernon Street building. Our exhibitions cover contemporary and 20th Century art, photography, film, graphic design, artists' books, fashion, illustration and pop culture.
The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of degree level or equivalent in a relevant art and design related subject, have experience of curating exhibitions, and possess the technical ability to support the Curatorial and Exhibitions Manager in framing, hanging and installing exhibitions.
