The School of Physics is seeking applications for a full-time Lecturer Above the Bar from PhD graduates in the field of Medical Physics. The post holder will be expected to work 40% of their time with the SAOLTA University Healthcare Group.

Candidates are also expected to have relevant post-doctoral research experience and/or experience as a practicing medical physicist in a clinical medical physics environment. They will have a strong research and publication record in Medical Physics. The appointee will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in both medical and general physics, supervise student research, and participate in individual, group and interdisciplinary research projects. They will establish interdisciplinary and industry links in Medical Physics and attract external grant funding. In addition, they will contribute to the design of the School’s teaching programmes and commit to innovative curriculum design.

Salary: €62,059 p.a. to €76,916 p.a.

(This appointment will be made on the Lecturer Fixed Term scale in line with current Government pay policy)
