Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry (Clinical Lecturer in Adult Oral Health)

Queen Mary University of London - Institute of Dentistry - Centre for Adult Oral Health.

The Institute of Dentistry is seeking to appoint to this new Clinical Lecturer post, which will join the academic team based in the Institute’s Centre for Adult Oral Health.

Applicants should have full registration with the General Dental Council and should have evidence of continuing professional education. Formal postgraduate training in Restorative Dentistry would be an advantage. A major aspect of the post is to provide support for the training of BDS undergraduates and DCP students providing primary dental care. An appropriate honorary clinical contract will be requested from Barts Health NHS Trust and the successful applicant will be expected to take part in all aspects of clinical governance activities and participate in the QMUL staff appraisal scheme.

The post holder will be based within the new Dental Hospital at the Royal London Hospital, with some outreach clinics.

This post is full time and permanent (part-time with a minimum of 4 days would be considered). Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave (pro rata if part time), defined benefit pension scheme, interest-free season ticket loan and family-friendly working.
