The Cass School of Education and Communities is an innovative and supportive school with a strong research culture and a reputation for providing responsive solutions to diverse educational needs. We have a significant role in the provision of teacher education throughout east London and beyond. Staff are experts in the fields of teacher training and professional education, early childhood education, special education, and social work.
We are seeking a leading academic and qualified practitioner, with an established reputation to manage our Teacher Education Subject Area. The successful candidate will have a key role in further enhancing the reputation of our Teacher Education area and working with collaborative partners in order to raise the profile of our public facing provision nationally and internationally.
Educated to degree standard, with a Doctorate in a relevant discipline or relevant equivalent professional experience, you will have a credible professional track record and/or research record. With a sound knowledge of the UK Higher Education and in Teacher Education, you will have experience of leadership and management in the University sector, including experience of staff performance and development, academic management and working with budgets
