“The Department of Legal Studies at CEU has given me an opportunity to learn and gain knowledge on a global scale. Given the diverse setup of the classroom, we are able to learn both from the excellent roster of teachers and each other. The main advantage of this diversity is that it helps us situate the issues of our own countries in a wider context. I think this is important because it gives us a chance to take the best of what we have learned here and take home ideas on how to make progress in our country.”

Central European University’s Department of Legal Studies offers advanced degree programs in comparative constitutional law, human rights and international business law accredited in the U.S. The curriculum combines international and regional intellectual traditions, and offers students hands-on experience and internship opportunities. Outstanding professors, including recurrent visitors from leading universities around the world introduce students to state-of-the art legal research, reasoning and writing.
