Faculty Administration provides an integrated and high-quality professional service to applicants, students and staff across the University.
You will be based within the Faculty of Education Health and Wellbeing. The Faculty is a dynamic learning community committed to enhancing the quality of education, health and wellbeing for people locally, nationally and internationally. We offer courses in Education Studies, Community Health, Health Studies, Midwifery, Nursing, Paramedic Science, Psychology Public Health, Social Care, Social Work, Sport & Physical Activity, Teaching.
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, you will have good office and administration experience and be proficient in the use of office technology including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet. You must be able to demonstrate an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy, have a track record of effective budget monitoring and reconciliation and the ability to write clear and precise reports with experience of editing and formatting documents for publication.
You will have a demonstrable proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy whilst working under pressure.
Experience in working in UK Higher Education, knowledge of records management and experience of working in a business development environment would be advantageous.
You will be required to be flexible in your working hours to meet the demands of the business and may be required to change your working day.
