An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the University of Southampton’s Sport and Wellbeing facilities, which are open to students, staff and members of the wider community. These include the signature Jubilee Sports Centre, Wide Lane Sports’ Ground and the Watersports Centre. An extensive range of sport and leisure classes, courses and facilities are available to our customers from 07:00 to 22:00 every day of the week.
We are looking for a Customer Services Assistant to support our Sport and Wellbeing section committed to providing student focussed services in partnership with others in and around the University. The successful candidate will play a significant part in enhancing the experience of students and other customers who interact with our service and additionally, will provide valuable administrative support/assistance to ensure the service runs smoothly.
You will be qualified to at least GCSE level with experience of working within a busy and diverse customer service environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is essential.
This position is part-time, 22.5 hours per week with the following working pattern: Thursday and Friday 16:00 – 20:00, Saturday & Sunday 14:00 – 22:15. The location of work will be at the Jubilee Sports Centre.
