The Faculty of Environment and Technology are seeking a Research Associate to work in the Bristol Robotics Laboratory.
This is a fixed term contract until 31 December 2018.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and running a series of human-human experiments to study human coordination and decision-making processes to be finally applied to various robotic platforms with different complexity. Doing so, you will build on the work carried out on computationally modelling underlying high-level decision making processes based on models inspired by cognitive science to realize a proactive robotic partner and implement these models on different robotic platforms as well as evaluate their performance by means of standardized experiments.
You will have a Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Robotics. A Masters level qualification, have registered for, or are willing to register for a PhD.
