We are recruiting an HR Advisor to join the HR Operations team on a permanent, full-time basis. This post will be based at our central Oxford site as well as our Egrove Park site in Kennington, Oxford. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this is an exciting opportunity that would suit someone who enjoys working in a challenging, service orientated HR environment.
Your main responsibilities will include the provision of sound HR advice and guidance on all University policies and procedures on relevant HR issues, provide support and information through the employment lifecycle for employees, as well as managing all HR operational processes from flexible working requests to redundancy procedures. You also will manage the staff on-boarding process, working collaboratively with the HR Business Partner on casework relating to sickness, grievance and disciplinary which will include providing advice and recommendations to line managers and staff.
To be successful at shortlisting you will have previous HR experience coupled with a high customer service ethic and a pragmatic approach to your work. You will possess demonstrable experience of employee relations and the ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships, with external and internal stakeholders. Strong self-management, with the ability to prioritise and undertake a number of demanding tasks simultaneously will also be key.
