Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research associate post in Virus Immunology group at Cardiff University School of Medicine. Immune modulation is a critical factor in human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) pathogenesis. This MRC-funded post aims to study NK-cell and T-cell responses in HCMV infection.
Our research combines pioneering genetic, functional and proteomics technologies for discovery and characterisation of functions important for immune recognition. Discovery and characterisation of novel HCMV immunomodulators and antiviral immune functions will be a specific focus of this post. Post-doctoral candidates with experience in virology and/or human immunology are sought.

This post is full time (35 hours per week), available from 1st December 2016 and is fixed term until 31st August 2019.
