Do you have experience of providing excellent customer service in a professional context? Are you able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders both verbally and in writing? Then consider a move to the Royal College of Surgeons to take on this exciting role within its Examination Department.

Renowned for our educational excellence and state-of-the art teaching facilities, we have been committed to enabling surgeons to achieve and maintain the highest standards of surgical practice and patient care since 1800. Our Dental and Surgical Examinations Directorate plays a vital role in helping us do just that - and it is here that we need an organised and efficient Candidate Liaison Officer.

Join us as Candidate Liaison Officer and you will: 

  • Be responsible for dealing with candidate enquiries and applications. 
  • Update the candidate-facing examinations pages of the College website
  • Contribute to the development of candidate relations initiatives, including the marketing of examinations as appropriate
  • Contribute to departmental-wide daily administration

You’ll need:

  • A good all-round education (including GCSE/O Level English Language and Mathematics  Grade C or above)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an office environment, including customer service experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work in a complex and fast moving environment
