Consolite Forensics is an innovative company established to exploit new technologies in the world of forensic science. Consolite Forensics has already brought to market revolutionary new products that are transforming their respective fields. The company has identified a need to investigate, research and develop to pre-production level for the next generation of physical devices enabling the advancement of forensics science. You will be working at the junctions of forensic science and product / human centred design.
Ideally, you will have a Master's degree in Industrial Design or Design Engineering (or equivalent) and have knowledge of designing and executing experiments, as well as experience of analysing and interpreting experimental data. Experience of designing using CAD is essential, as is knowledge and experience of designing and making (including rapid prototyping) mechanical devices. A sound understanding of manufacturing processes and relevant industrial experience is desirable. You must be pro-active, have excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
