Westminster Business School has a proud history of providing business and management education in the heart of London. Today, within our purpose-designed building opposite Baker Street Station, you will find a large and diverse team focused on strengthening our rising profile and reputation in both teaching and applied research. The Department of Marketing and Business Strategy is a friendly and lively group of people hosting successful undergraduate and postgraduate courses in marketing, and is a major contributor to cross-school UG and PG courses in general management, including the AMBA accredited MBA programme.
In joining our growing team you will make an immediate impactful contribution to the delivery of the academic curriculum, engaging with our diverse undergraduate and postgraduate student population. This is a varied role, which includes the design, planning and delivery of innovative modules at a range of levels, using appropriate teaching techniques, learning support and assessment methods to facilitate student learning; undertaking subject, professional and pedagogic research and scholarly activity; contributing to areas such as admissions, examinations, assessment of student progress and attendance as well as academic quality enhancement activities and processes.
A talented and skilled educator, and a recognised expert in your specialist field of Marketing, you will have a PhD or demonstrably equivalent level of knowledge in this field. You will also have substantial relevant teaching and/or professional experience (e.g in industry, consultancy and/or private practice), with a sound understanding of concepts and principles and how they are applied in practice. You will already be actively engaged in externally-recognised professional and academic research and other scholarly activities.
