Solutions Analyst, Estates and Facilities Systems

University of Westminster - Information Systems and Services

This is an exciting time to join the University of Westminster whilst we invest in our campus and infrastructure to create London’s ultimate student experience. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Estates and Facilities Systems team within the Business Information Systems Group.

With timetabling and room booking, facilities management, student housing, identity card management, student engagement monitoring and the IT Helpdesk all within the remit of this team, the post is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to improve and widen their knowledge of corporate systems.

Working alongside both technical and business colleagues, you will contribute to the development, operation, and support of the University’s Estates and Facilities systems. You will provide excellent ‘third-line’ support for the various systems, as well as ensuring both the system and its documentation is kept up to date.

You will be heavily involved in system configuration to ensure the systems meet the demands of its users, and you will participate in internal user groups and forums to help drive improvements and enhancements to the systems.

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are essential, and we are looking for someone prepared to make a real contribution to the team. Prior experience of working with any major business information system is essential, and candidates with knowledge of one of the systems within the portfolio will prove a distinct advantage.
