The University of Hertfordshire is recruiting a full-time Disability Adviser to work with students with all types of disabilities to identify, agree and facilitate support and reasonable adjustments. The post holder will work as part a team and in close collaboration with the University’s academic schools.
The post is based in the University’s Student Wellbeing department which includes disability, counselling, mental health, health services and health promotion. Located in a modern, new purpose built building with other University services to support our large student population.
The post holder will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a role that brings them into regular direct contact with disabled people, ideally within higher or further education and with adults on the autistic spectrum and/or with mental health difficulties.
