The Department of Creative Professions and Digital Arts (CPDA) is seeking a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Digital Arts. In this role you will augment the team that delivers our digital arts and connected programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and contribute to our research effort, with strong emphasis on practice based explorations in all our activities.
CPDA was formed from the range of creative practice subject areas across the University, consolidated now into a single entity with a mission to focus the energies of staff and students in a way that encourages interdisciplinary teaching, collaboration and skill sharing. Based in the state-of-the-art Stockwell Street Building, the department is fast settling into its new home. Stockwell Street opened in the last academic year and houses brand new practice studios, gallery spaces and workshop facilities. This post offers the opportunity to help shape the department as it continues to develop within the University of Greenwich.
Our BA (Hons) Digital Arts Practice encourages students to explore a full range of digitally-based creative outputs, including performance, sound design, projection mapping and installations, through technologically mediated environments. The Department is dedicated to widening participation, diversity and internationalism and this is reflected in our staff and student profiles.

Any questions about the post can be directed to Prof. Gregory Sporton, Head of Department, CPDA, on 020 8331 8001, or firstname.lastname@example.org
