The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. 

The Digital Education team supports UCL’s IT training and e-learning services and has a vacancy for an administrator to support two important institutional services: the Digital Skills Development programme (60% of the role) and UCLeXtend (40%).

The Digital Skills Development programme provides training to UCL staff and student to meet their personal, professional and academic needs. This part of the role involves scheduling and administering courses, maintaining records and being the first point of contact for advice and guidance on training and related activities.

UCLeXtend is UCL’s externally-facing Moodle-based e - learning platform. This part of the role will involve supporting end users - both teachers and learners - and administration of the registration, payment and course delivery on the platform. It involves responding to and resolving customer queries using a Salesforce RemedyForce-based ticketing system.

The post holder will have customer service experience, with experience of following administrative procedures and of using online administration systems. They will be professional and organised with attention to detail, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong IT literacy and an ability to understand numerical information. Experience with using a helpdesk system, a virtual learning environment, or a training administration system would be an advantage. The post holder should be proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of teamwork.
