Bath Spa University’s vision is to be a leading educational institution in creativity, culture, enterprise and education. With innovative teaching and learning, focused research excellence and state-of-the-art facilities, we put our students at the very centre of all we do.
Bath School of Art and Design is situated in one of Britain’s most beautiful and historic towns. Bath School of Art and Design was established in 1852 with the aim to develop artists and designers for industry. We work collaboratively, nationally and internationally with industry and cultural partners, including the Museum of Fashion, The Holburne Museum, Hauser & Wirth Somerset, Jerwood Charitable Foundation and Tate as a Tate Exchange partner as well as a host of other international partnerships and exchanges in teaching and research. Facilities in the School are exceptional, with a specialist Art and Design library, a wide range of technical and digital equipment within workshops and dedicated studios. This is an exciting time to join the School as we develop the Grimshaw designed Grade II listed former Herman Miller Factory on the riverside in the City of Bath into a new new campus for the Bath School of Art and Design.
