London Vision Clinic
|Placed on:||25th October 2016|
|Closes:||25th December 2016|
A prestigious & busy refractive surgery clinic, Central London, requires a full-time Postdoctoral Research Optometrist.
At London Vision Clinic our research department works alongside the clinical team to continually improve and optimise the refractive surgery treatments that we offer, and has produced over one hundred peer-reviewed publications in the last decade.
In this role, you will contribute to running prospective research studies, preparing presentations for international conferences, and writing manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication, while also undertaking detailed evaluation of challenging clinical cases in support of our group of surgeons and optometrists.
Through Professor Reinstein’s position as the co-inventor of Artemis VHF digital ultrasound and as the lead consultant to Carl Zeiss Meditec, our research projects are at the forefront of the field of refractive surgery, notably in keratoconus screening by epithelial thickness mapping, treatment options for presbyopia, therapeutic refractive surgery, and the development of small incision lenticule extraction.
If you are interested in this rare opportunity to work with world-leading surgeons and a friendly, professional team of optometrists, please send you curriculum vitae to: firstname.lastname@example.org
