About the role:
Continued growth allows us to offer additional faculty positions in our Business School, which has undergone radical change over the past three years. You’ll have the opportunity to join an ambitious, research active and lively community of scholars. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to our on-campus, corporate and international work, all of which are growing quickly, as well as the chance to develop your own research and scholarship interests.
Our Department of Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour (HROB) is aiming to build on existing strengths by seeking to appoint an innovative member of academic staff with industry HR experience who can contribute to a growing teaching and research portfolio in the area of Human Resource Management. You’ll contribute to our suite of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses. You’ll also be central to the development and delivery of new modules, and the wider business academic curriculum throughout the department.
With a PhD or Professional Doctorate, or nearing completion, you’ll be research active and experienced in delivering consultancy and professional development activities. With experience of teaching at Higher Education level or relevant commercial or professional experience, you’ll have excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills. Evidence of impactful and industry-relevant research, successful module or course leadership, or corporate engagement is expected in the case of appointment at Senior Lecturer level. Practical experience in Human Resource Management and corporate education would be advantageous.
