The EU Project Lead will work on our EU-funded Social Innovation research and experimentation programmes, particularly focusing on project management of our lead role in the EU Horizon2020 funded ShakerMaker project, and managing the Young Foundation’s role in the partnership between the UK partners. The role will involve the successful coordination, management and submission of all partners’ deliverables of the project. The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project and for ensuring that it is completed on time, on budget and to the required quality standards. The role will also involve the successful delivery of our existing portfolio of projects as well as the development and maintaining of relationships across Europe. It will require regular EU travel.
Candidates must have the ability to work in the UK
Location can be flexible, but candidates must be able to spend a considerable amount of time in the UK with the ability to travel to our Head Office in Victoria Park Square, Bethnal Green, London E2 9PF
Applicants must have previous experience of working on EU funded consortium projects; delivering financial and other reporting to the EU. Applicants should demonstrate their experience as a project lead, particularly in managing multi partnership projects. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate how they have channelled learning from consortium projects into organisational development e.g. shared the learning with the organisation. Line management experience is essential as well as proven experience in business development and successful fundraising.
