Are you experienced in financial planning and managing complex budgets? Can you use analytical and modelling skills to meet financial challenges?
An opportunity exists for a fully qualified and experienced accountant to join WMG to provide financial planning and budgetary control for WMG research and education activity, providing timely management information to enable the Group and its sub-teams to maximise and use effectively the financial resource available.
You will have demonstrable experience in the preparation and reporting of complex and varied financial information, including costing of new proposals, budgeting, cash flow and forecasting. You will be a skilled analyst who can quickly identify issues and provide timely formulation and modelling of potential solutions. You will have a high degree of accuracy and be a strong communicator and negotiator, even when under pressure.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), hold a recognised CCAB qualification and be a high level user of financial software, as well as Excel and Word.

This appointment is dependent upon part funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), for the project Product Innovation Accelerator (PIA), project number 06R15P00179 and will be subject to the continuation of both the availability of funding and the project.
