We are seeking to appoint a Finance and Administration Clerk to work as part of a small but busy team in Cambridge to support the finance processes for UBS staff.
The role holder will provide administrative support to the UBS finance team; carrying out monthly finance processes including overtime and expenses processing, handling procurement queries for UBS staff on behalf of the UBS finance team, processing invoices for payment using Cambridge University Finance System (CUFS) and resolving supplier issues when necessary. The role holder will also provide ad hoc support to the UBS Directors, assisting with clerical and general administrative duties including minute taking, filing, and typing up notes.
The successful applicant will be an approachable person, educated with at least five GCSE's grades A* - C including English and Mathematics (or equivalent) with excellent communication skills. They must be a motivated and organised; able to manage their own workload, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines independently with minimal supervision. The successful applicant will be computer literate, competent at using standard IT software and Microsoft Office programmes, and a working knowledge of University CUFS and iprocurement is also desirable.
Although primarily based in West Cambridge, the role holder may be asked to work at offices on Cambridge Biomedical Campus to provide support and cover, therefore must be able to work from either site as required.
