We are looking to appoint a Lecturer in the Division of Psychology on a permanent full-time basis. The Division is based in the School of Applied Social Sciences in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and is home to 25 academic staff. We offer a number of undergraduate psychology programmes which are accredited by the British Psychological Society as conferring eligibity for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership, as well as an accredited MSc in Health Psychology and additional postgraduate provision in the area of psychological wellbeing.
We are looking for applicants with expertise in individual differences (personality and/or intelligence). You will be expected to be research active in individual differences (personality and/or intelligence) and to develop your research leading to high quality research publications appropriate for a psychology REF submission. You will contribute to the teaching of students on undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programmes. Teaching duties will include preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars, supervision of final year projects/MSc dissertations, contributing to the personal tutoring scheme, and setting and marking of assessments. You will be required to contribute to the teaching of research methods and statistics
