This post is available for two years and the postholder will perform research on the mechanistic basis of radioresistance and treatment relapse in prostate cancer using preclinical models. Stress resistance and inflammatory signalling are hallmarks of the progression of aggressive prostate cancer. Radiotherapy is the widely used treatment modality and the focus of this position will be to investigate the mechanisms of radioresistance in the context of metabolic stress and inflammation.

This is a Prostate Cancer UK funded position.
