This position is a new and exciting opportunity within our newly restructured central placements team. Reporting to the Placements Manager and working alongside other relevant stakeholders including; Placement Coordinators, Careers Consultants, Placement Tutors and Placement Providers, you will develop and pilot a high quality, interdisciplinary, placement training program with a suite of online materials and resources focused on supporting our students in their ambitions to secure a professional placement year as part of their program of studies.
Main duties will include setting up and running a working group with key professionals involved in placement training delivery to agree plans and priorities for the project. The successful candidate will also need to map existing placement training sessions, materials and resources across schools and departments at the University, and to evaluate their effectiveness through focus groups and surveys with returning placement students.
