Based within the schools and departments served by the HumSS student support center, this role will focus on placement coordination in the School of Archaeology, Geography and Environmental Sciences and some Arts and Humanities subjects. The placement coordinator plays a pivotal role in increasing the uptake and quality of student placements and internships within the curriculum and in line with the University targets for growth in this area.
The placement coordinator role will include a wide range of duties involving the day to day organisation, facilitation and administration of student placements. This will include the responsibility for organising placement preparation and training activities, delivering pre, during and post placement support, monitoring and reviewing placement uptake and ensuring the quality assurance of all placement activity within your designated areas.
