Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work under the supervision of Professor Philipp Kukura on a research project funded by the ERC for a fixed-term period of 6 months.
The project involves application of interferometric scattering microscopy to dynamin dynamics. Find out more about Professor Kukura’s research group at: research.chem.ox.ac.uk/philipp-kukura.aspx.
You should have a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a relevant subject area, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. You should have extensive experience with dynamin preparation and single molecule assays, ideally in connection with their interaction with membrane nanotubes.
The role will include the preparation of membrane nanotube assays followed by the direct observation of dynamin dynamics through interferometric scattering microscopy.
