Cardiff University School of Psychology is seeking to appoint a Lecturer who can complement and extend our research and impact strengths, and provide engaging teaching. We are one of the largest and best psychology departments in the UK ('Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience' at Cardiff was placed 2nd in the UK Research Excellence Framework 2014).

We seek applicants in the following areas to strengthen and link our current internationally competitive research themes (psych.cf.ac.uk/research).

i.Social Psychology & Environmental Psychology
ii.Neuroscience (including computational neuroscience and behavioural neuroscience).
iii.Health Psychology and Human Development (including dementia and developmental imaging)
iv.Cognitive Science

We are committed to supporting early career scientists and offer attractive start-up packages that typically include research funds, initial RA support, a PhD studentship and reduced teaching and administrative load for the first year (psych.cf.ac.uk/aboutus/jobs.html). Salary:

£32,004 - £38,183 per annum (Grade 6 Lecturer)
£40,523 - £46,924 per annum (Grade 7 Lecturer)

Start date: We suggest the best start date will be within September 2017. We can consider other start dates (such as in 2018) and will be flexible if our commitments allow.
