A Lectureship/Associate Professorship within the Institute of Education (IoE), who will focus on developing research in widening participation, contributing to wider University activity in this area, and deliver teaching/training relevant to the University’s Strategy. The post holder will contribute to a range of activities across the University and the IoE dependent on their academic discipline.
The post holder will have a strong educational background and deep knowledge of, and commitment to, widening participation and diversity.
You will have:
- A First Degree.
- Research interests and experience in areas that are compatible with research in the Institute of Education, in widening participation, such as Inclusive Education, Gender, Diversity, Equality or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of widening participation policy in the higher education sector.
- The ability to take forward initiatives in widening participation across the University including outreach activities.
