Research Assistant in Economic Evaluation of District Heating

Nottingham Trent University is looking to recruit a Research Assistant the Economic Evaluation of District heating Networks linked to the EU Horizon 2020 project, REMOURBAN.

The successful applicant will join existing researchers on this project and provide research assistant in monitoring and evaluation of the impact of low temperature district heating networks on energy consumption.

The principal purpose of the Research Assistant role will be to support the development of research outputs in the fields listed above. The successful applicant will also coordinate the submission of appropriate research bids, identify research opportunities and write and co-ordinate the appropriate research funding applications in connection with this area of real estate investment.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate subject area such as engineering, BIM, construction management, or energy economics or possess equivalent work experience. Candidates should preferable be nearing completion of a PhD in related fields.

An awareness of standard research techniques and methods within this interdisciplinary area and an ability to apply analysis techniques are essential. It is also essential that you possess effective communication and organisational skills.
