Applicants should have a doctorate degree in comparative and international studies in education, or in a closely related social science, and preferably a track record in acquiring external grants. His/Her major teaching duties would be within the Faculty of Education, but with the possibility of contributing to teaching in one or more of our three partner faculties. He/She would be encouraged to develop Common Core Courses with colleagues from our partner faculties, be expected to supervise postgraduate research students, and take up administrative duties as required. Information about the Faculty can be obtained at http://www.hku.hk/education.

A globally competitive remuneration package commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience will be offered.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as leave, and medical benefits.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
