Salary: Professor: Competitive Salary; Associate Professor: £49,772 - £57,674

The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences is passionate about the integration of health and social care with real-world impact, striving to be excellent in research, teaching and innovation.

We seek to appoint a high calibre individual with an excellent international reputation to the Department of Social Work, Education and Community Wellbeing. You will drive and enhance the best quality research, teaching and entrepreneurial activities and actively encourage this among colleagues. The department has particular strengths in service user engagement; working with children and their families, mental health and wellbeing across the lifespan. Candidates with an established reputation in one of the above research areas or in any area of health and social care-related research linked to the Faculty’s multi-disciplinary theme of Integrated Health and Social Care are welcome to apply.

You must hold a first degree and be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline and have leading subject expertise in the areas of social work, education or health, with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. Proven ability to deliver high quality research led teaching within an appropriate field and a publication profile commensurate with the post of Professor/Associate Professor are essential.
