FOR SCALABLE DATA ANALYTICS

In our Linked Data and Semantic Web group we develop Knowledge Pipelines that help to process and analyze heterogeneous data efficiently and facilitate the use of data in new discoveries and smart solutions.

What we expect from you

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field of study
  • Desire to earn your doctorate while working towards the utilization of the technologies you help develop
  • Thorough understanding of Scalable Distributed Computing, familiarity with methods such as Map Reduce, Spark, Flink, Giraph, Docker, Mesos or UIMA
  • Solid experience with programming / scripting languages such as Java and Python
  • Knowledge of Linked Data and Semantic Web technologies
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics methods and their applicability in different domains

The position is initially limited for 3 years
