The Blavatnik School of Government seeks an experienced case study writer to guide the school in the development of a new area of teaching pedagogy. The Blavatnik School plans to develop a case centre that will enhance the School’s capabilities for participant-centred learning in public leadership. We are looking for an experienced case writer to lead in the development and writing of case studies and related materials, guiding and working with academics in translating their research into case studies applicable to policymakers around the world. You will also share your expertise through training of faculty on the case study writing methodology and help promote the Centre’s work internationally. The individual is ideally deeply motivated to improve the practice of government through teaching materials.
You will need a PhD/DPhil or equivalent combination of Master's degree and relevant experience with outstanding communications skills with the ability fluently to write and present complex material in a compelling and engaging way to a range of audiences.
Ability to work in both academic and government settings, and with interviewing government officials and policymakers is also strongly desirable.
