This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of Oxford’s newest departments, and shape a new programme of teaching at the University. The Blavatnik School plans to develop a case centre that will enhance the School’s capabilities for participant-centred learning in public leadership. We are looking for an experienced manager and case writer who can work with the School’s faculty leadership team to develop and nurture a culture, and practice of, case-based research and teaching. The individual is ideally deeply motivated to improve the practice of government through teaching materials. You will help set the strategic vision and manage this new case centre. You will also lead in the development and writing of case studies and related materials, guiding and working with academics in translating their research into case studies applicable to policymakers around the world.
You will need a PhD/DPhil or equivalent combination of Master's degree and relevant experience with proven project management experience, with an established track record of planning, managing and controlling projects to ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget, ideally within an academic environment. Experience of working collaboratively and independently while establishing strong working relationships and taking direction from one or more project leaders is strong desirable.
