Our department is consistently highly ranked in the Times and Sunday Times' league tables for our delivery of hospitality, leisure, recreation and tourism, and we're proud to be one of only three in the world to achieve an EPAS accreditation for our undergraduate hospitality courses.
Our growing hospitality programme is a fusion of practical relevance and academic rigour. So we look for people who can combine well-developed subject knowledge with the ability to build industry partnerships - to help us inspire and develop the hospitality leaders of the future.
The ability to manage your own workload and work proactively is vital in this role. You'll have a record of research or consultancy as well as some experience of undergraduate teaching or supervising. Experience of postgraduate teaching or supervision would be an advantage but is not essential. A doctorate (or about to complete) would be an advantage but isn't essential.
For non-EU applicants, we are unlikely to be able to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this job (unless you are switching from a student visa), so you should only apply if you already have unrestricted permission to work in the UK.
Closing date: 11/12/16 at 23:30pm
