Post-Doc Research Assistant (3yr) HYMS/CCMR

We are seeking to appoint to three different posts to work on a British Heart Foundation Programme award examining the links between metabolic dysfunction, inflammation and blood platelets. The researchers will be located in Professor Khalid Naseem’s research laboratory in the Centre for Cardiovascular and Metabolic Research (Hull York Medical School).

Post-Doctoral Research Assistant (3 years)

This three-year post is focused on platelet responses to metabolic stress. The successful candidate will hold a PhD (or close to submission) in a relevant area of biochemistry or molecular biology. Applicants should have experience in the isolation of blood platelets and biochemical analysis of metabolic pathways.
